I trust that His Excellency will bestow me the additional favour of moving The Right Amorable The H Secretary of State for the Colonies to recede to the request which I herein most humbly, but earnestly, submit, that the Colonial Agent at home be instructed to procure for me the requisite Act of Naturalization, and that the expenses attendant on procuring of the Enactment be in the first instance defrayed by that Officer in England, and then recovered from me here, (through the Colonial Treasury) in monthly instalments; my Salary will not allow me to remit the whole amount at once.
